We had long wished to combine our passions for murals and tiles, and we finally had the opportunity to do so in this mural installation for the Stoneart Festival in 2023.
As the festival takes place in an active limestone quarry near Porto de Mós in Portugal, it made us think about the duality of power and human power from the beginning. After all, where better to realize that we humans literally have the power to move mountains?
